As Trout stockings dwindle, carp are becoming a more important forage base in many lakes. An exact replica of a small mirror carp with a wide tail kick has been created.
Like all Real Prey baits the swimming carp was designed from a real fish and made from silicone not plastic for superior durability. The Real Prey Sickle Tail highlights the natural profile of this bait.This bait has a big tail kick even at slow speeds.
The Real Prey Swimming Carp are available with a 6/0 jig hook or a bottom hook set up.
Butch Brown Rig, bottom hook models are recommended and will work the best for this application.
A flat tail version can be special ordered for deadstick or dropshot applications.
Note: Due to different customers hook choices, all bottom hook swim baits will be shipped with out trebles and customer will supply own hooks. A 1/0 Short Shank is recommended for bottom hooks.
